Frequently Asked Questions

Get answers to common questions about Laser Consultation & Patch Test - Let's Talk About It!.

We review your medical history, assess skin and hair, explain laser options and expected results, then perform a small patch test to monitor immediate skin response and determine safe settings.

Plan for about 30–45 minutes for the full appointment. More complex consultations may take longer; the patch is quick but we observe the area briefly to confirm no immediate reaction.

Most clients feel only mild, brief discomfort similar to a rubber-band snap. Patch tests are low-risk and scarring is extremely unlikely when performed by experienced technicians.

If the patch shows no adverse reaction and your medical profile is clear, we may proceed the same day. Otherwise we’ll recommend the safest timing based on your results.

Avoid tanning and strong exfoliants for one to two weeks, shave the area 24 hours before, and bring a list of medications and previous skin treatments for an accurate assessment.

Patch tests reliably indicate immediate sensitivity and help set safe laser parameters, but delayed or rare reactions can still occur. Follow aftercare instructions and report any unusual changes.
